BARRY BLAZEVIC
After leaving military service in 1975, Barry began his career in construction as a laborer in concrete and masonry working for his father, Al Blazevic.
In 1978, he entered an apprenticeship program with Bricklayers Local 1, working to become a journeyman in 1980. Barry’s duties increased over the years, moving from crew foreman, superintendent and eventually estimating and project management.
In the 1990’s, Barry and his brother, Nick, bought the company from their father and have run it as their own ever since, striving to grow the company and keep up with the demands of the industry and our clients.
Barry has served on the board of the Minnesota Concrete and Masonry Contractor’s Association, including former President. He serves on various boards and trusteeships of the unions.
He has spoken to trade groups, architects and engineers in an effort to promote the Industry. Barry has been married to his wife Diane for 30 years and they have three sons.
He is active in his church, serving as Lecture, Eucharistic Minister and on the Buildings and Grounds Committee. He enjoys restoring classic cars and street rods when he is not at his cabin in Northern Minnesota.

NICK BLAZEVIC
Nick began his construction career in 1974, driving a pickup to the job sites delivering job materials. Shortly there after he joined the laborers union. Working as a laborer in the concrete and masonry field with the oversight and guidance from Al Blazevic he became a cement mason in September 1982. From there he became superintendent of concrete operations.
With vocational training in blueprint reading and estimating Nick entered the management field in the 1990’s.
Nick’s responsibilities include working with owners with cost analysis, and design, estimating and tracking job performance through completion. Additionally he is active in daily administration and scheduling.
Nick has been married to his wife Nancy for 20 years and they have 2 children, Mick and Abby. They live in the Dayton area. Nick Enjoys golf, classic cars, traveling and spending time with his family and friends at their cabin in northern Minnesota.

STEVE SCHAHN
Although he did not know it, Steve’s career in concrete and masonry began when he was quite young – helping his father and his uncle on small concrete and masonry projects throughout the metro area.
Steve graduated from Dunwoody Industrial Institute in 1989. After working as a project manager in commercial painting and commercial flooring, he found his way back to his family’s long time trade of concrete and masonry.
He began working for ADB Construction in 1995. Steve’s primary duties include marketing, developing new clients, maintaining current clients, overseeing the estimating team, project management. Steve is also involved in various industry/trade associations.
Steve enjoys spending time with his wife, Michelle, and four children, Chandler, Alexandra, Max and Willie. In their spare time, they enjoy four-wheeling, snowmobiling, being outdoors and family time.
Steve has also been a member of the Ham Lake Fire Department since 1998.

PAT EBERLE
Pat started working at ADB Construction in April 1999. As Office Manager, Pat handles and maintains all the accounting functions for the business.
She works with the vendors on accounts payable, the clients on accounts receivable and the employees on payroll and some human resources issues.
Pat lives in the Maple Grove area with her husband Mike. They have 2 boys, one serving in the Army and the other in college preparing to be a police officer.

BOB LANGER
Started his construction career in 1972 under the direction of his father as a laborer. In 1977 Bob joined the Finishers union while working for a residential contractor. Bob moved into commercial construction in 1980 and began running work as a foreman in 1990 before joining ADB Construction in 1999 as the concrete superintendent.
During Bob’s career before coming to ADB he had worked on several unique projects as well as a number of high profile projects throughout the metro area, including the Minneapolis Convention center, Minneapolis Recycling Center and Trash Incinerator Plants and raising the roof of the Anderson Windows building in Bayport.
As the concrete superintendent Bob is responsible for scheduling of all labor and materials for the concrete and demolition crews at ADB.
Bob lives in Scanda, MN with his wife Chris of 30 years. They have 4 grown children, 2 boys and 2 girls. Bob enjoys hunting, fishing and traveling with his family.

DON STEELE
Don began his construction career in 1978 working for his uncle’s construction company as a laborer. In 1980 he started his apprenticeship with the bricklayers local 1 while working for James Steele Construction and Opus. Don came to work for ADB on 1993 as a bricklayer, quickly moved up to foreman and became the Masonry Superintendent in 1997.
Don’s responsibilities include overseeing all of the masonry work, including scheduling the crews and deliveries, ordering materials, and enforcing safety policies. Don lives in Harris, MN on a small hobby farm with his wife, Beth, of 20 years. They have 5 children, 2 girls and 3 boys.
Don and his family enjoy raising animals on their farm, hunting, taking family vacations and volunteering for different church activities.
